Course: Advanced OpenClaw | Pathway: Builder | Level: Advanced Estimated Reading Time: 18 minutes
You now have agents that can browse the web, execute shell commands, read and write files, and interact with external services. That is powerful — and power without guardrails is dangerous.
An autonomous agent running on a cron schedule at 3 AM does not have you looking over its shoulder. If it decides to delete files, send an inappropriate email, or run a destructive command, it will do so unless you have explicitly prevented it.
This lesson covers the security model in OpenClaw: exec approval workflows, command restrictions, channel permissions, and the principles that keep your agents safe without making them useless.
This lesson is part of Advanced OpenClaw — a paid course (NZ$10.00). Enrol to unlock the full lesson, audio, and completion tracking.
